# Search Terms

We have specific search terms we recommend for sofa/couch flipping. However, although we suggest these, it is not mandatory to choose these and we can set you up with other search terms instead.

Your plan determines how many search terms we monitor across marketplaces for you. This search term is what you would enter into the search bar when on a marketplace e.g. 'sofa'.

The more search terms you use, the more listings you will see, and the lower the chance of missing any good items.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.marketplacemonitor.co.uk/how-it-works/search-terms.md?ask=<question>
```

The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
